Ventilated seats are a feature that has gradually become very common in Indian cars. Starting in cars under ₹10 lakh now, ventilated seats are no longer a “luxury” feature for Indians. Given the conditions most people drive in, ventilated seats make cars much more comfortable in the summers. With ventilated seats becoming a more and more common feature in cars, it only makes sense to list out 10 of the cheapest cars that offer ventilated seats to buyers. Here are 10 of the cheapest cars with ventilated seats that you can buy in India:

1 – Maruti Suzuki XL6 (Alhpa Plus)

The Maruti Suzuki XL6’s Alpha Plus is the only variant which offers XL6 buyers ventilated seats at a price of ₹12.97 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the Alpha Plus is the top-end variant of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 and comes in four trims – Alpha Plus and Alpha Plus Dual Tone, both in automatic and manual transmission options.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a 6-seats MPV which is powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine along with a CNG option (which isn’t available in the Alpha Plus trim). The 1.5 litre naturally aspirated four cylinder petrol engine generates 101.64 bhp of power and 137 Nm of torque. The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is available in a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed AMT automatic transmission.

This coupe-like compact SUV was also upgraded recently with the X trim and now comes with ventilated seats, only limited to the top-spec Max trim. The Citroen Bassalt X Max trim is priced at ₹12.08 (ex-showroom) onwards in India. The Citroen Bassalt comes with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The former is good for 110 bhp of power, while the naturally aspirated petrol engine only creates 82 bhp of power, which is quite less for a car of this shape and form.

It offer seat ventilation from the HX8 trim which starts at a price of ₹11.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The HX8 is the second-to-top variant of the Hyundai Venue, which means that the top-end HX10 trim also comes with ventilated seats.

The new Hyundai Venue is powered by a 1.0 litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol version of the Hyundai Venue HX8 and HX10 comes with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The Kia Sonet is also a popular sub-4 meter SUV in India. It was also the first car in this segment to bring ventilated seats for the passengers. The Kia Sonet’s top-spec HTX, GTX, and X-Line variants are the only ones that come with seat ventilation, starting at a price of ₹10.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the HTX variant. The Kia Sonet is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine generates 120 bhp of power, while the diesel variant of the Kia Sonet makes 116 bhp of power.
