Kia’s popular MPV, Carens, is about to get a refresh soon. The Korean automaker has confirmed the launch of the 2025 Carens on May 8, 2025. Along with an updated fascia, the vehicle will feature several design-related changes, including new lighting elements, a new color scheme, and revamped alloys.

Although the company hasn’t revealed the vehicle’s price yet, we do have some idea about what the 2025 Kia Carens MPV could cost in India. So, without any further ado, let’s dive right into it.

2025 Kia Carens Price (Expected)

The current version of Kia Carens starts at Rs. 10.59 lakhs (ex-showroom). However, the upcoming version is expected to arrive with a slight hike in price. As a result, we expect the 2025 Kia Carens to start at Rs. 11 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Kia Carens Gravity Edition: Features And Price

On the front, the new Kia Carens is said to feature a new fascia, including new LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs) inspired by the company’s EV lineup, and a revamped bumper. Like the front fascia, the rear end should also get updated tail lights, light strips, and a redesigned bumper. Despite the changes, the vehicle will retain its overall silhouette.

Inside, the 2025 Kia Carens is expected to feature a new dashboard with redesigned air vents, a center console, updated seat upholstery, and more soft-touch materials than the current generation. Furthermore, the vehicle could feature two 12.3-inch screens— one for the instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system — dual-zone automatic climate control, and powered driver’s seats.

Given that the company has an elaborate lineup in global markets, it could use some internal/external design elements from its higher-end vehicles in the upcoming Carens.

We’ve also heard rumors about ventilated rear seats and entertainment screens for the rear-seat passengers (likely on the six-seater version). Some safety-related features include ESC, parking sensors, and other ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features.

2025 Kia Carens Powertrain (Expected)

Like the last generation, the 2025 Kia Carens is also expected to debut with three engine options.

  • A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
  • A 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT transmission.
  • A 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter unit.

2025 Kia Carens Bookings And Delivery

Soon after its debut, the new Kia Carens will be available for bookings, while deliveries may be scheduled later.
