Skoda is gearing up to unveil a mid-life facelift for the Kushaq in India. The automaker should at least announce the 2026 Kushaq by the end of January next year. From recent spy shots, it appears this will be a major facelift, with extensive exterior and interior changes and multiple additions to the feature list. So without any further ado, let’s discuss everything we know about the 2026 Skoda Kushaq in this detailed roundup.

Skoda Kushaq Roundup 2026

The spy shots of a new Kushaq have surfaced several times, most recently in November 2025. Although the car remains heavily camouflaged, we can still figure out slightly revised headlights (marginally sleeker units) and a reworked grille with slimmer vertical slats and a more square lower air-dam design.

Skoda could also integrate the DRLs in the upper section of the grille (as seen on the newer models). Along with a new headlight setup, the vehicle could also feature refreshed front and rear bumpers, with a more angular styling and a squarer front air-dam pattern. On the rear, the car could get a connected or swept taillight graphic (as seen on modern mid-sized SUVs).

The spy shots also hint at changes to the alloy wheels, the car’s cladding, and the roof rails. Of course, the automaker will launch the 2026 Skoda Kushaq in a new signature color, along with the hits and the classics.

2026 Skoda Kushaq: Expected Feature Upgrades

Skoda Kushaq 2026 roundup

Multiple sources suggest that the Kushaq’s mid-life upgrade could include a panoramic sunroof (offered by most competitors in the price bracket), a 360-degree camera, upgraded parking aids, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster, accompanied by wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and connected-car telematics features.

The most anticipated feature upgrade of all is the addition of ADAS. Skoda’s 2026 Kushaq might feature Level-2 ADAS features, including lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring, among others. The current-generation Skoda Kushaq is already among the safest mid-sized SUVs in India, owing to its stable bodyshell and six airbags as standard.

However, the addition of Level 2 ADAS features could take its safety to another level. Even otherwise, Kushaq’s rivals, such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, offer Level 2 ADAS features. Hence, Skoda must provide them to stay relevant in the market.

Among other additions to the car’s cabin could be a subtle ambient lighting setup, better upholstery options, automatic parking aids, projector lights, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, and an improved air conditioning system.

Skoda Kushaq 2026

Skoda is likely to continue offering the current TSI petrol engine duo on the Kushaq, as it is quite popular among performance enthusiasts and fits with the Volkswagen Group’s India 2.0 strategy.

  • 1.0-litre TSI (3-cyl): 115 PS / 178 Nm (paired with 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter auto in current line-up).
  • 1.5-litre TSI (4-cyl): 150 PS / 250 Nm (currently mated to a 7-speed DSG; some rumours suggest manual availability returning for certain trims).

Skoda is also rumored to introduce a new 8-speed automatic transmission paired with the 1.0 TSI petrol engine, which could boost the fuel economy and aid acceleration, especially at lower speeds.

2026 Skoda Kushaq: Pricing & Availability

While pricing details are not yet available, prospective buyers can expect the price to increase slightly. Currently, the Skoda Kushaq 1.0L Classic variant costs Rs. 10.61 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, the new variant could start at around Rs. 10.75 lakhs, or more.
