MG Motor, a British carmaker, has teased yet another Electric Vehicle (EV) coming soon on its social media handles. The teaser video does show renders for the upcoming MG Motor EV although the carmaker refrained from providing any specs. It mentioned that the EV is slated to debut in Q4 of 2022. While, MG Motors did not reveal its name, it could be named EV MG 4 but we will have to wait for the title to be confirmed.

MG Motor All-Electric In the Making

According to the tweet, the upcoming EV will have a length of 4,300 mm. It makes it slightly shorter than the MG ZS EV 2022. The EV is slated to arrive in Q4 2022.

While MG Motor refrained from sharing any spaces, it did share the length. By the teaser, it can be assumed that the upcoming EV could be a family hatchback or an EV SUV with heavily sculpted side panels. It looks to have 17-inch alloy wheels with strong shoulder lines onboard. The tire size is estimated at 225/65 R17 as per a source.

Moving on, the teaser for all-electric EV from MG had a tag #MGElectricforAll which is likely a node to the price tag it will arrive at. So, you can hope for a lower price tag of the upcoming EV MG 4 than the one on MG ZS EV. The EV is likely to compete against the likes of Kia e-Niro, Nissan Leaf, Cupra Born, Volkswagen ID 3 among others.

We highlight that the EV is targeted towards the customers in the UK and thus, there’s no news around its launch in India and other markets. Once it rolls out, it will be the four EVs from MG Motor in Europe after ZS EV SUV, Marvel R SUV, and MG 5 Wagon.
