Echo Spot supports Alexa, Amazon’s smart voice assistant that can do many tasks. On the device, Alexa can not just set alarms or play the asked music track from platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, or JioSaavn, but it can also combine the two.
As mentioned in the press release, buyers can say, “Alexa, set a weekday alarm for 7 AM with devotional songs,” and Echo Spot will wake them up by playing the songs at the stipulated time. If buyers feel like snoozing the alarm for a bit, they can either ask Alexa or tap the Echo Spot.
Besides this, Alexa on Echo Spot can also do the usual stuff, like fetching information about the weather conditions, increasing or decreasing the volume of a music track, and, more importantly, controlling other smart home devices.
