Tech giant Apple has been working to open Retail Stores in India for a while now, but things kept getting delayed a number of times. Now finally, plans are materializing as the Cupertino-based tech giant has shown off the 1st look of its first retail store in India to get the buzz going. The first Apple Store in India is opening in Mumbai very soon. Here is the first look at its front side.

Apple Store in Mumbai

Using its official website, Apple has confirmed that the Apple BKC Mumbai store is opening soon. The store will be located at the Jio World Drive Mall in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The area is home to several premium brands around the world.  An image of the barricaded store has been revealed which makes the opening imminent.

The logo at the Apple BKC store is speculated to be inspired by the ‘Kaali Peeli Taxi’ art, which signifies Mumbai in its truest sense. The Apple BKC Creative includes colorful interpretations of the decals combined with many Apple products and services that will be available for Apple’s customers to discover.

Apple has not shared any more details about the store or the launch date, but rumors are strong that the store will open very soon. Apple’s move to launch a retail store in India is its way of making its position in the country even stronger as India has become a key market for Apple products in recent times. Apple witnessed double-digit growth over the past few quarters in India. iPhone 14 Series came to India days after its official launch in the US. Online stores Apple came to India in 2020 and now the country will witness physical stores as well.

Expectations from the Apple BKC Store

The BKC Store will give services like Apple trade-on for instant credits, shopping with a specialist, shopping online and picking up from the store, and more. There will be a dedicated team of support and one will get Apple gift cards as well.

After the Mumbai Store, the next stop for the Apple Retail Store in India will be Delhi followed by other cities. However, these plans are still far away in the future. Till then, stay tuned to this space for all the major updates of the tech world.
