It’s official. The Cupertino-based tech juggernaut Apple has finally confirmed the date for the upcoming Apple Spring 2022 event. Although it was heavily rumored that Apple will organize a launch event on March 8, it was reportedly a fake invite. Cut to now, Apple has officially confirmed the Apple Spring 2022 event on March 8 at 10:00 AM PDT or 11:30 PM IST. As said, this is a fake invite as Apple hasn’t confirmed the dates yet.
Apple will launch a few products at the launch which includes a refreshed iPad Air as well as the star of the event aka Apple iPhone SE+ or iPhone SE 3 or whatever it will be named.
Apple Spring 2022 Event – What To Expect
Recently, we did come to know some specs for iPhone SE+ although that still remains a rumor as Apple doesn’t confirm details about its phones before the launch. We will still get an Apple A15 Bionic chipset, an iPhone 8-inspired design (which was adopted for iPhone SE 2020 as well).
Apart from the design, the upcoming iPhone SE+ will bring onboard improved camera tech and will be priced as low as $300 although other reports suggest it will remain at a retail price of $399 just like its predecessor. In case the $300 price tag turns out to be true, it would make iPhone SE+ among the cheapest iPhones out there.
There’s a refreshed Apple iPad Air in the news too which will get an Apple A15 Bionic chipset along with 5G tech, upgraded front-facing camera, and others. There won’t be any major design overhaul though but that remains to be seen.
There’s a possibility of a new MacBook Pro as well. Apple analyst Mark Gurman did note that a cheaper MacBook Pro hosting an M2 chipset could make it to the Spring event. It won’t attract any design overhaul similar to iPad Air and will be powered between MacBook Air and the current-gen MacBook Pro.
