Vision Air Could Feature Titanium Interiors To Reduce Its Weight
Now, more details have surfaced about the lighter headset, which might be called the “Vision Air.” According to the leakster Kosutnami, the Vision Air will be thinner than the current headset, most likely due to the omission of certain heavy-weight components.
Further, the Cupertino-giant could use titanium for the headset, its connectors, and the battery, which could significantly reduce the weight. Though the company will still use aluminum for the headset’s exterior, it could use titanium for the internal components, which would help reduce the device’s weight.

Furthermore, the Vision Air will be available in an “iPhone 5-era black” color, which resembles graphite dark blue. In addition to all these claims, the leaker has also shared a few images of what appears to be a new Lightning-style connector in a Midnight finish.
While the original cable for the Vision Pro has 12 pins, this one has eight pins, suggesting that the Vision Air might require lower power or data transfer speeds.
