Apple has already confirmed that it will launch the iPhone 14 Series on 7th September. Ever since the news came out, there have been rumors and confusion about whether the brand will launch iPhone 14 Mini or replace it with iPhone 14 Max. Now, there’s something new that is popping up. iPhone 14 Plus to launch on September 7?
A Twitter user named @Tonnyboiiiii claims that he has spotted Apple clear case which has iPhone 14 Plus clear with MagSafe written on it. The user has also spotted the name on another website that is selling the case for the same Plus model. Although there is no surety if the image is authentic or not, Apple bringing iPhone 14 Plus can be a possibility.
A report by 9to5Mac claims that the upcoming new model in the iPhone 14 Series will be iPhone 14 Plus and not iPhone 14 Max. “Apple is expected to announce 4 new iPhone 14 models at its September 7 event, including a standard 6.7-inch model that has been widely referred to as the iPhone 14 Max in reports. However, the device could actually end up having a different name. The leak comes via a Twitter user who shared alleged images of packaging for Apple’s Clear case with Magsafe. The packaging shows the iPhone 14 Plus name on the front, rather than the iPhone 14 Max name,” MacRumors reported.
The report claimed that the Apple news covering sources are also familiar with the brand using the Plus name for its next iPhone. Apple has also asked the case makers to not use the name iPhone 14 Max, as it won’t be the actual name of the product. This hints toward Apple bringing back the Plus moniker to its upcoming iPhone 14 series.
Apple last used the name for the iPhone 8 Plus in 2017. Since then the brand has been using Max for its large-sized iPhones.
Apple iPhone 14 Series Expected Price
Apple iPhone 14 is likely to be priced below Rs. 80,000 in India for the base variant. The iPhone 14 Pro will cost around Rs. 88,000 while the Pro Max version will cost around Rs. 95,000. The iPhone 14 Series will be launched on 7th September at 10:30 PM IST and the pre-booking for the iPhone will be made available from 9th September. The sale is expected to begin on September 16.
