Asus ROG Phone 6 press images surfaced ahead of its July 5th launch

Asus has already confirmed the launch of its next-gen gaming phone dubbed as Asus ROG Phone 6. It will be official on July 5th at 5.20 pm IST in India as well as globally during the same day. You can now check out some of the press images that Asus will be using when the phone releases thanks to a tweet by leakster EVLeaks. The tipster even said the rear display will have a ROG Logo, 1/1.56” sensor, and 8K Ultra HD video recording.

The gaming smartphone maker Asus will unveil the Asus ROG Phone 6 with better specs than its predecessors. Asus confirmed that it will use a 165Hz refresh rate on its screen compared to 144Hz on the last-gen unit. There’s an 85& bigger graphite sheet, a 30% larger vapor chamber, and more to improve its performance even when subjected to hardcore gaming sessions.

Asus ROG Phone 6 Specifications (Expected)

Well, do make a note that these specifications are rumored and may not roll out as mentioned below. However, they are still based on numerous speculations and reports so expect some specs to be true.

The Asus ROG Phone 6 is expected to get a 6.78-inch FHD+ 165Hz OLED 10-bit HDR panel with a 12MP selfie camera. There’s a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood clocked at up to 3.2GHz of max frequency paired with Adreno 730 GPU for graphics. The device uses up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and runs on Android 12-powered ROG UI for the software.

Moving on, you’ll get a 64MP triple rear camera flanked with an ultrawide snapper and a macro sensor. The device is likely to get an 8K video recording mode as well although take it with a pinch of salt. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC can handle 8K pretty easily, ROG Phone 6 is likely to get this integration although take it with a pinch of salt.

Next up, Asus ROG Phone 6 comes prepared with ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger. There’s 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi ax, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GPS, and Dual 4G VoLTE among others. Finally, the phone will be powered by a huge 6,000mAh battery flanked with a 65W HyperCharge for speedy charging. You can choose from White and Black colorways available with the device.
