Asus ROG Phone 6D lineup makes debut with Dimensity 9000+ SoC

Asus ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate have been launched in the global market. Both smartphones are based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor and a highly durable battery. The Asus ROG Phone 6S Ultimate comes with a ROG Vision colour PMOLED display. In addition, the device also has an AeroActive Portal at the rear panel. Not only this, but the smartphones also have a triple rear camera setup for the purpose of photography.

As for the pricing, the Asus ROG Phone 6D is available in the market for a price of GBP 799 which converts to Rs 72,490. The Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, on the other hand, is available at a price of GBP 1199 which roughly converts to Rs 1,08,000. The smartphones are being shipped in a single Space Gray colour option. The prices can vary at the time of the India launch of the series.

Asus ROG Phone 6D lineup specifications

The latest ROG Phone lineup features a 6.78-inch FHD+ 10-bit OLED display complemented with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. The display of the devices is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and has 800 nits of peak brightness. The base variant includes 16GB LPDDR5x RAM along with 256GB internal storage. The ultimate variant has 512GB UFS 3.1 storage for saving all your files and application. The devices run on the Zen UI custom skin based on the Android 12 operating system.

The devices also have Hi-Res output along wit symmetrical dual front-facing speakers with Dirac HD sound and a 5-magnet stereo speaker. They also come with Ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 6 and grip press detection. In terms of optics, we get to see a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, 12MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 5MP macro shooter. On the front, the devices have a 12MP sensor for the sake of selfies and video calls. Both of them draw power from a 6000mAh battery along with 65W fast charging support.
