Asus ROG Phone Series is one such line-up that has raised the bar for gaming smartphones all around the world. Taking a leap forward, Asus has launched the ROG Phone 7 Series in India today. The series includes Asus ROG Phone 7 and Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. These smartphones are meant for gaming enthusiasts in the country as they aim to provide an ultimate gaming experience to gamers without disrupting the work-life balance.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Series: Price & Availability

The Asus ROG Phone 7 comes in a 12GB RAM+256GB storage variant for Rs. 74,999. It will be available in Phantom Black and Storm White colors.

The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate comes in a 16GB RAM+512GB storage model for Rs. 99,999. Phone 7 Ultimate will come in Storm White color only.

ROG Phone 7 Series will be available on the Asus India e-store, select Asus exclusive stores, ROG stores, and Vijay Sales in May 2023.

Asus ROG Phone 7: Specifications

Asus ROG Phone 7 comes with an Aura RGB fixed LED shape and a two-tone design separated by a big slash. The slash divides the device into matte and glass textures.

The Asus ROG Phone 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with Qualcomm Adreno 740 GPU. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, 1500 nits brightness, 720Hz touch sampling rate and 23ms touch latency. The device also comes with ray tracing support, X Sense, X capture, an Air Trigger system, Vibration mapping, Background mode, and many more gaming features.

The smartphone sports a 50MP primary, a 13MP ultrawide, and an 8MP macro camera at the back. The front has a 32MP selfie camera. It packs a 6000mAh battery under the hood with 65W fast charging support. ROG Phone 7 runs Android 13 with ROG UI and Zen UI and comes with an IP54 rating. The device weighs 239 grams. It comes with X Mode for gaming, a game cool 7 cooling system, Dirac audio, 3D Encapsulation technology, Hi-Res audio, Qualcomm aptX adaptive sound, and more. The ROG Phone 7 is WiFi 7-ready and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

ROG Phone 7 comes with a ROG Aero Active Cooler 7 this time for an even better gaming experience. It comes with dual side active cooling, 4 triggers for a console-like gaming experience, a subwoofer with 2.1 channel sound, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. This comes with a USB-C connection and can lower the temperature of ROG phones quickly and effectively.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate: Specifications

Most of the specs are similar to ROG Phone 7 but this one comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. It weighs 249 grams. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate comes with a unique ROG Vision matric display and an enhanced Game Cool 7 thermal system and Aero Active Portal. The design is also similar to the ROG Phone 7.
