Asus is prepping up to roll out the Asus ROG Phone 7 series in the global market. In a recent development, the brand has confirmed the official launch date of the upcoming flagship series. We will get to see the worldwide launch of the Asus ROG Phone 7 series on April 13, 2023. The rumors and leaks regarding the devices have also revealed what we will get to see in terms of specifications and features.

Asus ROG Phone 7 leaked specifications and features

Asus ROG Phone 7 will ship with a 6.78-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display coupled with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display panel of the handset will get an in-display fingerprint sensor and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5X UFS 4.0. The smartphone could operate on the ROG UI based on the Android 13 operating system. Speculations are that the smartphone will also have HDR10+ support.

Asus ROG Phone 6D

The Asus ROG Phone 7 might flaunt a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary shooter, a 13MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 5MP macro shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the smartphone will rock a 32MP front snapper. The Asus ROG Phone 7 will draw power from a 6000mAh battery along with 65W fast charging support. It is also being said that the Pro variant from the series could have a higher charging capacity. The handset will come with an IP54 rating to offer protection from dust and water. It will weigh around 240 grams and will have a sleek body too.

There has been no word on the pricing of smartphones until now. However, one of the leaks suggested that the price of the base variant will be around CNY 3,999, which converts to Rs 47,800. Anticipations are that the gaming smartphone will reach the Indian market at a higher price as compared to its China price.
