Qualcomm Snapdragon hosted its annual summit in Hawaii yesterday and alongside the launch of new Snapdragon SoCs, the event saw various tech giants confirming the launch date of their upcoming flagship devices. ASUS took to the stage to confirm that the ROG Phone 9 Series is all set to launch globally and it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset.

ASUS ROG Phone 9 Series: Launch date

ASUS confirmed that the ROG Phone 9 Series will arrive globally on 19th November. ROG Phone 9 will be one of the first smartphones to feature a powerful Snapdragon chipset in terms of Android devices.

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Series is set to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which includes a 2nd generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU and an enhanced Adreno GPU. Like every year, the device will have a gaming-centric design to offer a lag-free experience for avid gamers. There is LED lighting on the back which is a hallmark ASUS feature to appeal to gamers offering them a visually striking smartphone.

Though no other features were announced, but earlier reports claimed 24GB RAM, 1TB storage, and 65W wired fast charging for the upcoming ROG Phone 9.

We might hear more about the device soon since the launch is not even a month away now.
