TL; DR
- Asus launched the Vivobook 15 and Vivobook 14 in India with Intel Core 7 Series 3.
- Both feature a 17 TOPS NPU, MIL-STD-810H build, and TUV Rheinland-certified FHD IPS displays.
- Vivobook 15 starts at ₹75,990; Vivobook 14 at ₹1,07,990 from July 26.
Asus has spent the last two years pushing the Vivobook series closer to the mid-premium space in India. However, the sales volume has always been in the sub-₹80,000 category, or even lower, I’d say, where first-time buyers (entry-level professionals and students) make their purchase.
Two new additions to the Vivobook family, the 15 (X1504MA) and the 14 (X1404MA), land at that very price point. Both are powered by Intel’s latest Core 7 Series 3 processors with a dedicated NPU, bringing on-device AI processing to a segment that has rarely seen it before.

Asus Vivobook 15 (X1504MA): More Screen, More Accessibility
Starting at ₹75,990, the Vivobook 15 is the more accessible option here. It features Intel’s Core 7 Series 3 chip, which includes an NPU delivering up to 17 TOPS of AI compute. The chipset is backed by up to 16GB of DDR5 memory and up to 512GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.
The 15.6-inch FHD IPS display features a TUV Rheinland eye-care certification and a 250-nit brightness. In addition, it comes with MIL-STD-810H durability certification, a 180-degree lay-flat hinge, and a fingerprint-embedded ErgoSense touchpad.

That rounds out a machine designed specifically for students or professionals who spend six to eight hours in front of it daily. Bundled lifetime Microsoft Office Home 2024 and 100GB of OneDrive for a year add genuine day-one value.

Asus Vivobook 14 (X1404MA): Compact Form, Higher-Configured
The Vivobook 14 starts at ₹1,07,990 and is available from July 26 through Asus Exclusive Stores and eShop.
The ₹32,000 premium over the 15-inch model should be reflected in a higher base configuration, even though this one has a smaller screen. Everything else carries over: the same MIL-STD-810H build, 180-degree hinge, TUV-certified FHD IPS display, and bundled Office Home 2024.
At 1.4kg versus the 15’s 1.7kg, the 14 is the better pick for buyers who carry their laptops daily.
