Asus Zenfone 5 Max With Snapdragon 660 And 4GB RAM Visits Geekbench

Asus Zenfone 5 series that was recently announced at MWC 2018 will soon see the addition of a new phone, dubbed as Asus Zenfone 5 Max. The alleged phone paid a visit to a benchmark site, Geekbench, as ASUS_X00QD and the resulting benchmark score along with a few key specifications were leaked on the internet.

Asus Zenfone 5 Max Specification (Expected)

As per the image, the Asus Zenfone 5 Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 clocked at 1.6GHz frequency. The chipset scored 1518 and 5386 on the GeekBench’s single-core and multi-core test, respectively.

Other than this, the leak also revealed that the phone has 4GB of RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo OS running out of the box. As per earlier leak in January, the Zenfone 5 Max had received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance.

The rest of the specifications of Asus Zenfone 5 Max, like camera details, storage, and display size and resolution are not known as of now. But, we could presume the device to be a battery-centric phone since its predecessor, Zenfone 4 Max, was announced with massive 5,000mAh battery.

That’s not all! Asus could flaunt its latest notch-display-design on Zenfone 5 Max as well. The firm launched its 2018 Zenfone 5 series, excluding the Lite variant, with an iPhone X-like design. Both the Zenfone 5 and 5Z have a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with a notch on top, and when the devices are flipped you have two vertically corner-aligned rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor in the middle.

All the above information is based on leaks, therefore should be taken with a pinch of salt. Asus is yet to announce the launch date and availability of its Zenfone 5 Max.
