Asus has confirmed the arrival of its Zenfone 7-series for August 26. It’s been quite a while since Asus launched its 6Z in India and unless Asus has settled the lawsuit with
Telecare Network India that owns “Zen Mobiles” trademark in India, the Zenfone 7 could launch as Asus 7Z in the country.

Asus Zenfone 7 or Asus 7Z Features

Asus Z

Asus hasn’t divulged any detail about the Zenfone 7-series yet. Rumors suggest that Asus will retain the swivel camera from last year, and the 7-series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset and house a 5000mAh battery.

That also means it will be significantly more expensive than the Asus 6Z from last year. Two variants visited Bluetooth SIG certification, so we are still keeping our fingers crossed for a lower cost Zenfone 7 with Snapdragon 765G.

We are guessing that the camera system would be similar to what we had on the ROG Phone 3 (6Z and ROG Phone 2 from last year shared the same camera system as well).

The official launch is still more than weak away and we can surely expect more leaks to flow through till then. Stay tuned.
