Update Additions and Improvements
So, what’s new to the table?
First and Foremost, it carries the important November Security patch. Yeah, we are thinking the same thing. While other phones are getting the December update, Asus lags behind with the November one. Still, we welcome the new security update.
But the main attraction would be the inclusion of Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Portrait mode in the Front camera. EIS is an enhancement that reduces the blurring in videos due to shaky hands. Next is the adored portrait mode that brings bokeh effect to your photos. However, still, the AI features aren’t brought to the front camera. Asus might bring it in the future updates. Fingers crossed!
Next up, Asus has updated the audio parameters. So, you can expect a better audio experience. The touch response and fingerprint sensor performance have also been polished. Accordingly, you are likely to get an improved Fingerprint addition and recognition out of the device.
Overall, you could expect an elevated performance and smartphone experience and by January, your device would be getting the Android Pie v9.0 update as well, which brings its own features and benefits.
