Audi India has revealed its most powerful SUV: the RS Q8 Performance in India. While the car follows the classic Audi design language, its main highlight happens to be the 4.0L twin-turbo petrol engine, which can provide enough thrust to reach from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Here’s what you need to know about the luxury SUV, including its price, powertrain, interior and exterior design, and safety features.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Price
The Audi RS Q8 Performance starts from Rs. 2.49 crores (ex-showroom). However, the effective price should differ for each customer, depending on the accessory pack they choose.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Powertrain Options

Living up to its name, the Audi RS Q8 Performance features a 4.0L Twin Turbo V8 TFSI petrol engine that can generate 645 bhp of peak power and 850 Nm of peak torque, along with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The powerful engine is paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic converter gearbox, along with Quattro AWD (all-wheel-drive system) with a sport differential.
The performance SUV can reach 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, giving passengers the push-back they’d get the Audi for. With the powerful engine, one can push the vehicle all the way up to 305 km/h. It also has the RS Sport exhaust system and an adaptive air suspension system with active roll stabilization for a comfortable ride experience.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Exterior And Interior

The Audi RS Q8 Performance has an aggressive yet classy look. For instance, the car has the HD Matrix headlight setup (with Audi Laser Light) in a sleek housing. Between the headlamps is a broad single-frame grille with rhomboidal openings (in a glossy black finish).
On the side, the vehicle sports 23-inch alloy wheels, which surely add to the car’s sporty character and strong road presence. Then there’s the slightly sloping roofline (not enough to call it a coupe-SUV), body-colored door handles, and blacked-out ORVMs that characterize the Audi RS Q8 Performance’s side profile.
On the back, the car features a spoiler, connected taillamps, a blacked-out Audi logo, and an aggressive bottom cladding with dual exhaust vents (on either side). The company offers the vehicle in eight standard colors, including Mythos Black, Glacier White, Daytona Gray, Chilli Red, Ascari Blue, Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, and Satellite Silver. In addition to these, there are nine Audi-exclusive colors as well.

On the inside, the car gets a perforated Valcona Leather Package with honeycomb stitching, the RS sports leather steering wheel with media and driving controls, ambient lighting, and a four-zone climate control system.
The Audi RS Q8 also has multiple screens on the inside: one that acts as the infotainment screen (with the Audi MMI system), the other that seems to control the air conditioning, and the third that sits behind the steering wheel (the instrument cluster). Further, the vehicle features a B&O premium sound system featuring 23 speakers that produce a whopping 1920W output.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Safety Features
The luxury SUV is equipped with loads of safety features, including six airbags, a Lane Departure Warning system (with optional steering wheel vibration system), RS ceramic brakes, and real-time tire monitoring. Then, there’s electronic stability control for vehicle stability during dynamic driving conditions.
