BenQ has launched a new ScreenBar Pro designed for professionals, designers, and programmers seeking precise, clutter-free workspace illumination. It serves as an upgrade to the previous ScreenBar Halo and WiT ScreenBar Plus models, with improved illuminance, sensor automation, and aesthetic refinement.

The device’s light source is a dual-color LED with a color rendering index of ≥95 and a color fidelity index of ≥96. It features a center illumination of 1000 lux (at 50 cm height), provides a coverage of 85 × 50 cm at 500 lux, and a color temperature range of 2700K – 6500K (8 levels). Finally, you can adjust the light’s brightness between 16 different levels.

BenQ ScreenBar Pro monitor light bar features an asymmetrical optical design (3rd Gen ASYM-Light Technology) that directs light downward to illuminate the workspace without screen glare. The LEDs in the light bar deliver sunlight-like color accuracy, ensuring true-to-life visuals. Further, it is flicker-free and ensures low-blue-light illumination to reduce visual strain during prolonged usage.

It also sports an ultrasonic motion sensor for automatically turning on/off and adjusting its brightness (based on the ambient light). The clamp mount included with the product provides a secure, scratch-free fit on various monitor types (including flat and curved screens) and thicknesses.
