If you’re looking for a phone that can handle hours of high-FPS gameplay without burning a hole in your pocket, there are plenty of gaming smartphones to choose from. In this article, we’ve compiled a list of handsets that deliver flagship-level gaming performance for a budget of Rs. 35,000.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, or the Dimensity 9400e, these smartphones offer smooth gameplay in popular titles like Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM), or Genshin Impact. We’ve listed the top contenders, from the value-driven Poco F7 to the actively-cooled Oppo K13 Turbo Pro.

Best Gaming Phones Under Rs. 35,000: Table of Contents

1. Poco F7

If you’re looking for an affordable yet capable gaming smartphone with a powerful chipset, a capable screen, and a relatively affordable price tag, the Poco F7 (review) could be the right phone for you.

It features a big 6.83-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother gameplay, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset for blazing fast gaming performance (enough for running Call of Duty: Mobile at 120 fps and BGMI at 90 fps), along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone also features a 6,000 mm-square vapor chamber for sustained performance. To power long hours of gaming, the phone has a massive 7,550 mAh Si/C battery, which could last up to two days with regular usage and around five to six hours of continuous gameplay (could be more, depending on the game settings). You also get a 90W fast charger in the box.

Additional features of the phone include a 50MP primary camera capable of recording 4K 60 fps videos, Bluetooth v6.0, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the screen. Further, the baseline variant offers you 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, making it the value-for-money option.

2. iQOO Neo 10

iQOO neo 10 review

Next up on the list of best gaming smartphones under Rs. 35,000 in India is the iQOO Neo 10 (review). The phone is a tad more expensive than the Poco F7, since it only offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage (yes, the baseline variant cuts corners on storage type).

For the price, the phone offers 144Hz gaming with higher brightness (2,000 nits HBM). With the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the phone delivers 120 fps native BGMI gaming and pushes the frame rate to 144 fps with frame interpolation. Interestingly, iQOO also equips the phone with a 7,000 mm-square camera chamber, which helps with sustained gaming.

Powering the phone is a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery that should provide around four to five hours of heavy gameplay and around eight to 10 hours of screen-on-time with casual gaming. What’s good is that the company offers a 120W PD charger in the box. Additional features of the smartphone include a 50MP primary camera (with 4K 60 fps recording) and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

3. OnePlus Nord 5

If you’re looking for a OnePlus gaming phone under Rs. 35,000, the Nord 5 (review) could be the right option for you. For the same price as the iQOO Neo 10, the Nord 5 offers a slightly less powerful chipset, but with twice the storage on the base variant, and, more importantly, 120 fps gaming.

First, the phone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen that supports up to 144Hz refresh rate (we didn’t see it go above 120Hz though) and 1,800 nits HBM brightness. Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which delivers 120 fps in BGMI and 90 fps in CODM.

Furthermore, the phone also has a 7,300 mm-square vapor chamber. Powering the phone is a 6,800 mAh battery that’s a tad small but equally good, and it supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging. What’s good is that OnePlus has committed to providing four years of operating system updates and six years of security patches.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro

Moving up the ladder of price on the best mid-range gaming smartphones in India is the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro. The phone costs a little over Rs 35,000, but you can easily get it in the stipulated budget using the bank offers available via retailers.

Unlike other phones in this segment, the phone includes a miniature centrifugal fan to sustain performance with active airflow. With the fan off, the K13 Turbo Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, averages about 95.60 fps, while performance reaches 114.60 fps with the fan enabled.

In our review of the K13 Turbo (not the Pro version), we mentioned how the fan brings down the temperature from 45°C to 35°C in around four to five minutes. Like the other phones, the phone features a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 50MP primary camera (4K 60fps), and a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery that supports 80W wired charging.

5. realme GT 7

Next up on the list of best gaming smartphones is the realme GT 7 (review). Like the K13 Turbo Pro, the phone retails for around Rs. 37,000, but with the introductory offers of around Rs. 1,800, you can get it for around Rs. 35,000.

This is the first Dimensity 9400e smartphone on the list, and it delivers consistent high frame rates in titles like BGMI (120 fps) and Genshin Impact (60 fps). In our review of the device, we also noted that it remains more thermally stable under sustained workloads.

Furthermore, the handset features a 7,000 mAh battery that can provide up to 7 hours of continuous BGMI gameplay at 120 fps, according to the company. Furthermore, the phone comes with a 120W fast charger in the box, which completely charges the phone in 38 minutes.

Additional features include a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a dedicated 50MP (f/2.0) 2x optical zoom sensor, four years of operating system updates, and IP66/IP68/IP69 water resistance.
