iQOO 15R To Feature A 7,600 mAh Battery
iQOO India has confirmed (via the official X account) that the iQOO 15R will feature a 7,600 mAh battery.
We already have smartphones with over 7,000 mAh batteries across segments, including the Moto G67 Power 5G (Rs. 15,739), Nord CE 5 5G (Rs. 24,999), and the realme 16 Pro Plus 5G (Rs. 39,999).
However, the iQOO 15R is the “slimmest smartphone” with a 7,600 mAh battery. For those catching up, the phone is 7.9 mm thick, making it noticeably slimmer than traditional mid-rangers or flagships, and it packs a 7,000 mAh battery.

How Does The Phone Compare To Other 7,000+ mAh Smartphones?
Below is a comparison of the iQOO 15R with other 7,000+ mAh smartphones and their thicknesses. I’ve included the latest flagship, since it represents the pinnacle of the smartphone industry.
| Battery Capacity | Thickness | |
| iQOO 15R | 7,600 mAh | 7.9 mm |
| iQOO 15 | 7,000 mAh | 8.1 mm |
| OnePlus 15 | 7,300 mAh | 8.1 mm |
| OnePlus 15R | 7,400 mAh | 8.1 mm |
| Realme 16 Pro | 7,000 mAh | 7.8 mm |
| Realme GT 7T | 7,000 mAh | 8.3 mm |
It’s interesting that the iQOO 15R will feature a bigger battery than the regular iQOO 15 (review) and still maintain a thinner side profile than the flagship (7.9 mm vs. 8.1 mm). Even the OnePlus 15R (review) had a larger battery than the OnePlus 15 (review), but both phones are equally thick at 8.1 mm.
