Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter launched in India; Know the Specs and Price

Bounce, a Bengaluru-based EV startup, has launched its first-ever electric scooter – Infinity E1. What’s unique about the Bounce offering is it comes with a ‘Battery as a service’ option which will let its customers buy the new electric scooter without a battery.

Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter Features

The Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter sports a sleek design featuring a 2kWh lithium-ion battery with an IP67 rating. Like most EV scooters, it can also be recharged at home. It has a Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor and tubeless tyres. It is claimed to offer a range of 85km on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 65kmph. The battery setup is provided beneath the seat of the scooter with boot space to accommodate a helmet.

The E1 e-scooter features a digital speedometer display showing different information like speed, ignition, side-stand status, indicators, battery status, and headlight details. The Infinity scooter can be connected with a smartphone for tracking, anti-theft alerts, and tow alerts. It has a Drag Mode to help the rider in case of scooter comes to a halt.

The ‘Battery as a service’ option allows customers to opt-in for a battery with the scooter. With this unique USP, Bounce gives its customers to rent or subscribe for battery services through its battery-swapping network. The manufacturer announces the battery swap cost which is Rs 35 per swap.

Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter Price & Availability

The new Bounce Infinity E1 is priced at INR 68,999 including the cost of battery and charger. Those considering to enjoy battery as a service option can purchase the E1 scooter as low as INR 36,000. The company has started taking the booking at a token price of Rs 499. The delivery will start from March 2022. There are five colour options – Sparkle Black, Comet Gray, Sporty Red, Pearl White, and Desat Silver.
