Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Price Leaked
Like last year, the Galaxy Z Fold6 will be available in three storage configurations: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. While the configurations are the same as last year, the prices, unfortunately, are not. Here’s what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will cost in the United States.
- Galaxy Z Fold6 (256GB): $1899.99
- Galaxy Z Fold6 (512GB): $2019.99
- Galaxy Z Fold6 (1TB): $2259.99
- The foldable will be available in three colors: Navy, Silver Shadow, and Pink.
- Weighing in at 239 grams, the upcoming foldable is significantly lighter than its predecessor, which weighed 253 grams.
- The Galaxy Z Fold6 will ship with a 7.6-inch primary display.
The prices for all variants have gone up by $100 in one of the key smartphone markets. Needless to say, the hike will also reflect in the foldable’s global pricing, such as in countries like India, where foldables are among the most expensive smartphones.
Nonetheless, customers should be able to take advantage of the company’s introductory offers. The company offers free storage upgrades to those who pre-book the device and the option to bundle accessories at a highly discounted price. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Indian Pricing (Speculation)
Back in July 2023, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold5 (review) at $1,800 for the baseline model with 256GB of storage. Considering the average conversion rate to be 82 (for ease of calculation), the phone should have cost around Rs. 1,47,600 in India. However, the company introduced the same model at Rs. 1,54,999 in the country, which is a five percent premium.
Given that the leaked price of the Galaxy Z Fold6 is $1900 for the baseline model (which is about Rs. 1,58,777.30 as per the conversion rate on June 12, 2:40 PM IST via Google), the phone could cost around Rs. 1,66,715.85. To make the pricing more appealing, the company could round it off to Rs. 1,69,999, or position the phone around Rs. 1,74,999 as well.
