Announced in July along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (review) and Galaxy Z Flip 6 (review), the Galaxy Ring is up for reservation on Samsung’s website for a token amount of Rs. 1,999 (refundable). Those interested can visit the landing page here, enter some basic details like their name, email address, and phone number, and make the payment of the stipulated amount.

The Galaxy Ring is also available for pre-reservation at select retail stores and online stores like Amazon and Flipkart. Samsung has also confirmed that people can use the device “without any subscription fee.” In the box, buyers will get a charging case and a data cable.

Pre-Reservation Is Live Until Tomorrow

The pre-booking window is relatively short, though, only lasting until 12 PM on October 15, 2024. Those who reserve the Galaxy Ring during this period will get a Samsung Wireless Charger Duo worth Rs. 4,999 for free (upon purchase of the Galaxy Ring).

Samsung Galaxy Ring Expected Indian Price

However, Samsung hasn’t confirmed the price of its upcoming wearable. The device retails for $399 in the United States, which is around Rs. 33,540. Hence, we expect it to be available for around Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 in India. It is important to mention that similar devices already exist in the Indian market, like the Amafit Helio Smart Ring (Rs. 24,999) and the Ring Air by Ultrahuman (Rs. 28,499).

The Samsung Galaxy Ring features a premium titanium casing, comes in different sizes, and offers many health and fitness tracking features. These include tracking users’ sleep quality, automatically logging workouts, and monitoring their heart rate and blood oxygen levels. With the Samsung Health app, the Galaxy Ring can provide a detailed analysis of all the metrics it measures in the form of Wellness Tips and Energy Score (powered by Galaxy AI).
