Carl Pei’s Nothing has finally launched its 3rd TWS device and the successor to the Nothing Ear 1 in India today. Nothing Ear 2 has been officially announced in the country and promises to come with better specs for an improved audio experience.

Nothing Ear 2: Price & Availability

Nothing Ear 2 is priced at Rs.9999 in India and is available to order right now. The Open sale begins on March 28 via Nothing’s official website. It comes in a solo white color variant.

Nothing Ear 2: Specifications

The TWS earbuds feature an 11.6mm dynamic driver and Hybrid ANC to reduce ambient noise. It comes with AAC, SBC, and LHDC Bluetooth codecs and Hi-Res wireless audio certification. The ANC is personalized, environment adaptive, and comes with a transparency mode. It can cancel sounds up to 40dB and the buds have a frequency range of up to 5000Hz.

The earbuds are lightweight with a weight of about 4.5 grams each and come with an IP54 rating to protect against splash and sweat. The dimensions of the charging case are 55.5×55.5x22mm and it weighs 51.9 grams. The Nothing Ear 2 has the same transparent design as its predecessor Ear 1 but the charging case is now smaller and lighter.

Nothing Ear 2 comes with clear voice technology with 3 mics per bud, dual connection, Google fast pair, in-ear detection, Microsoft swift pair, LED charging status, Low lag mode, and more. In terms of connectivity, the buds come with Bluetooth 5.3 and run Nothing OS with Nothing X app support for ios and android devices.

Advanced features include customizable EQ, gestures, Find my earbuds, low lag mode, software updates, personal sound profile, ear tip fit test, and more.

The Nothing Ear 2 claims to give up to 6 hours of playback time with a single charge and up to 36 hours of battery life with the case. The buds have a 33mAh battery each while the case has a 485mAh battery with USB Type-C charging. The buds support fast charging and Qi wireless charging up to 2.5W as well.
