Carl Pei’s Nothing Phone (2) launched in India: Read on to know more

Carl Pei’s Nothing has launched its 2nd generation smartphone in the country today. Nothing Phone (2) is the successor to the Nothing Phone (1) that launched last year. It follows the same design language as its predecessor but comes with better specs this time. Many software changes have also been introduced to Nothing OS this time.

Nothing Phone (2): Price & Availability

Nothing Phone (2) will be available in the following variants-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB- Rs. 44,999
  • 12GB RAM+256GB- Rs. 49,999
  • 12GB RAM+ 512GB – Rs. 54,999

It will retail via Flipkart and retail outlets from July 21 and is up for pre-orders currently. The smartphone will come in white and dark grey shades.

Nothing Phone (2): Specs

The second-generation Nothing Phone (2) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. It sports a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs Android 13-based NothingOS 2.0 and packs a 4700mAh battery under the hood with 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.

There is a dual camera setup at the back including a 50MP primary and a 50MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, there is a 32MP lens at the front.

The smartphone has a flat display on the front and a slightly curved panel on the back. The LEDs are placed on the rear panel in the same way as on Nothing Phone 1. The center part of Nothing Phone (2) has 6 separations and 33 addressable LED lighting zones while the upper side will have 16 customizable lighting zones. It weighs 201 grams and is 8.8mm thick. Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, GPS, USB Type-C and more.
