CMF Buds 2 Design and Features Teased Ahead of April 28 Launch in India

CMF by Nothing has officially teased the CMF Buds 2, set to launch alongside the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus on April 28, 2025, at 6:30 PM IST in India. The design reveal came today via a post by CMF’s official account on Twitter (X). Let’s take a closer look at it.

CMF Buds 2: Design and Color Options

The CMF Buds 2 features a square charging case with rounded edges, a departure from the CMF Buds Pro 2’s case, which had a volume wheel. The teaser image reveals a pairing button on the case—a practical addition for seamless connectivity also present in the Buds Pro 2.

The earbuds sport an angled, in-ear stem design, similar to their predecessor. It will be available in three colors—Orange, Light Green, and Black. The round wheel, which also carries the lanyard pins, is now transparent.

Audio Quality and Expected Features

The Buds 2 are expected to offer 40dB ANC, 10mm drivers, and around 30 hours of playback without ANC, slightly less than the Buds Pro 2’s 35.5 hours, to hit a lower price point. Features like IP55 dust and water resistance, low-latency mode at 120ms for gaming, and fast charging via USB-C (5 hours playback with a 10-minute charge) are also expected.
