The Mobile World Congress, an annual event dedicated to mobile phones and gadgets, stands out as one of the most thrilling technology gatherings of 2025, is currently taking place. Scheduled from March 3 to March 6, MWC showcases not only cutting-edge smartphones but also the coolest tech innovations in terms of wearables, such as smartwatches, augmented reality glasses, solar-powered laptops, and earbuds. This story will cover 15 such coolest tech innovations showcased during MWC 2025 so far.

1. Laptop that charges via Solar Energy

Lenovo has showcased a solar powered laptop that features solar panels on the outside which helps charge the device when it is kept under sunlight. The laptop works outdoors and indoors when it gets enough reflective sunlight. The company claims it can offer 1 hour of video playback in merely 20 minutes of charging by sun. Lenovo has announced it is coming to stores in 2026 and this makes the showcasing even cooler.

2. Pet Smartphone for your Furry Friends

A collar phone for pets might seem extravagant to some, but many pet owners consider their furry friends a part of the family. For them, this PetPhone by GlocalMe will be lucrative as it will enable direct connection,n not just reasonable but essential for peace of mind. This pet collar phone will offer two-way interaction along with AI health monitoring and GPS positioning. It can allow pets to initiate a call using predetermined gestures.

3. Lenovo Magic Bay Accessories

One of the most practical concepts showcased during MWC 2025 is the Lenovo Magic Bay Accessories. You have magnetic pogo pin connectors on the back of your laptop which will allow you to add a bunch of accessories like displays, AI assistant companion hardware and more. Two concept accessories were showcased, one having a small add-on display that pops up on top of existing screen and another with two 13.3-inch dual displays, adding 3 screens to Thinkbook model.

4. Tecno SPARK Slim

A few days ago we reported how Tecno is claiming to showcase slimmest smartphone during MWC. Tecno SPARK Slim has been shown off with a thickness of 5.75mm and a larger 5200mAh battery under the hood. It looks pretty chic and curvy and has been made to give competition to other sleek smartphones that are available.

5. Smartphone Cum Projector

Doogee V Max Play is a smartphone cum projector that features a massive 22000mAh battery and is as thick as a brick. There is also a projector on the go so your gaming or movie sessions are never limited by small screen.

Meizu has showcased its smart glasses that allow live translation, navigation, teleprompting in real-time. The best part is that the glasses look like regular specs so the person standing in front of you wouldn’t know how you are understanding their language. You can present a flawless presentation without the entire crew in the meeting room knowing anything about the help you are taking.

7. Infinix phone that charges via Sunlight

Infinix has gone funky and solar during the MWC 2025. The brand has showcased a phone that charges via solar energy, a phone case that also charges using solar with contact points and a device with e-ink tech at the back. Infinix uses solar cells made of Perovskite mineral to absorb solar power without the device heating up.

8. HMD’s TWS that doubles as Powerbank

HMD has launched a portable wireless power bank that also doubles as TWS. The HMD Amped Buds pack a 160mAh battery offering continuous power for 95 hours. The case doubles as a Qi 2 charger that can charge your phone by attaching to the back of it.

Earbuds can neatly tuck on either side of the device and support ANC and USB Type-C charging. These are IP54 rated and come with Fast Pair support, Lossless audio via Snapdragon sound and Bluetooth 5.4.

9. Smart Biosensing Contact Lens by XAPANCEO

XAPNCEO is showing off a trio of smart contact lenses that includes AI Contact lens with integrated microdisplay, biosensing lens monitoring glucose and hormone levels and a non0invasive glaucoma management system. It can be used to detect any early signs of glaucoma and monitor your eye’s overall health.

10. Samsung display’s folding handheld console

Samsung’s Display group has shown off various prototypes including an asymmetrical Z-Flip style phone that can fold into two places leaving the middle of its screen visible and a larger folding display hidden inside a briefcase.

11. Aurzen Zip Folding Projector

Projectors are bulky items that are mounted on the walls, or ceilings and left in their place. Aurzen Zip Folding Projector is a different kind of beast that looks like Galaxy Z flip 6 and can stand on a surface to project movies up to 80-inch in size. After usage, it can be folded down into compact device that can fit into one’s pocket. It works over Apple AirPlay and you can stream videos from Netflix via iPhone. It offers a 720p resolution and is great for carrying around anywhere you go.

12. Smart Glasses for Cyclists

BleeqUp debuted 4-in-1 cycling glasses packed with tech including an AI-powered camera and headphones. These are the world’s first 4-in-1 AI cycling glasses that offer some serious eye protection for cyclists. The glasses come with UV400 rating, anti-fog design, Zeiss lenses and a wraparound design reminiscent of brands like Oakley. The glasses are IP54 rated and made of lightweight, durable TR90 plastic. These come with a recorder that can shoot videos at 1080p on a single charge.

13. TCL RayNeo X3 Pro AR Glasses

The TCL RayNeo X3 Pro AR Glasses features a micro LED display with 2500 nits brightness. It uses multimodal AI to work. It is powered by Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset and offers navigation all in the corner of your eye taking on the Ray-Ban meta glasses. There are dual speakers for audio and the glasses are expected to launch in mid-2025.

14. Phones made with Gold & Silver

The RedMagic 10 Pro gaming phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. During the MWC, the company announced the Golden Saga version of the phone. This has a thermal system of the phone made with gold and silver plating along with carbon fiber. The phone has even got a sapphire glass rear cover. It is priced at 1499 USD.

15. TCL PlayCube

PlayCube

TCL PlayCube is a compact projector with a unique design. It is split into two pieces, the projector and the speaker that can be rotated individually. You can prop up PlayCube at almost any angle so it can be set up easily compared to other projectors. The projector claims three hours of battery life, which is decent.
