Dreame Technology has unveiled a new robotic vacuum cleaner and mop that offers a complete cleaning solution. Called the Dreame X40 Ultra, the product is designed to deliver superior cleaning performance, ease of use, and minimal human intervention. It offers features like Side Reach, MopExtend RoboSwing technology, and Vormax suction. However, with the premium features comes a premium price tag.

Dreame Technology X40 Ultra Key Features
The Dreame X40 Ultra comes with Side Reach technology, a feature that lets the robotic vacuum cleaner reach the toughest spots, like wall corners and curved furniture legs, with fewer missed spots. The side brush on the appliance can lift up to 10mm for better reach. With built-in cross-contamination prevention between dry and wet messes, the vacuum cleaner is also great at carpet cleaning.
The MopExtend RoboSwing technology allows the device to extend its mop up to 4cm, allowing it to clean under low-profile furniture and in other hard-to-reach areas. The powerful Vormax suction (12,000 Pa) makes the Dreame X40 Ultra one of the most powerful in the segment. Its optimized air duct design ensures smooth airflow, removing any pet hair, dust, and larger debris with ease while maintaining a quieter operation.

Interestingly, the device can identify and target stubborn stains with its OmniDirt detection technology, adjusting the cleaning methods for the best results. An RGB camera and a 3D structured light technology on board enable precise obstacle detection, allowing for efficient cleaning even in poorly lit rooms. Then, there’s a sensor to ensure that the mops are rewashing when necessary.
Regarding self-maintenance, the X40 Ultra features a 7-in-1 Auto Base Station. It offers features like automatic dustbin emptying, 70-degree Celcius hot water mop cleaning, automatic mop drying, and refilling of both water and cleaning solution. Last but not least, the device features advanced carpet cleaning strategies, which include lifting the mop when encountering carpets, preventing them from getting wet, and so on.

The Dreame X40 Ultra will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 99,999 during the Great Indian Festival Sale on Amazon. However, the regular price of the product is Rs. 1,29,999.
