Dyson has launched its Zone headphones in India. The device connects to users via Bluetooth, provides three modes of active noise cancelation, and can last for several days on a single charge. However, the headphones’ most unique aspect remains the built-in air purification system. Here are more details about the features and price of the new Dyson Zone headphones.

Dyson Zone Specifications

Out of the box, the over-ear headphones come with 40mm neodymium drivers that offer ultra-low distortion with intelligent signal processing. The headphones also offer active noise cancelation with eight microphones that monitor the surroundings 384,000 times a second.

The headphones also have another pair of microphones for the built-in transparency mode. Speaking of which, the device also offers a Conversation mode that activates when users lower the visor. The built-in battery on the headphones can last up to 50 hours with ANC enabled.

However, the most unique aspect of the Dyson Zone headphones is their air purification abilities. Along with the device, users get a contact-free visor that attaches to the earcups, covering the users’ nose and mouth. Along with the air purification system (with an electrostatic filter and an activated carbon filter) in the earcups, the headphones remove city fumes, viruses, and 99% of ultrafine pollutants from the air and circulate clean air through the visor.

Depending upon the external environment, users can set the purification to four modes, including low, medium, high, and auto. With the MyDyson app available on Android and iOS devices, users can monitor the air quality in their locality and adjust the purification modes accordingly.

Other features, such as the noise cancelation modes, can also be controlled from the app. However, the motors and the purification system take a toll on the battery life, reducing it to four hours (with ANC).

Dyson Zone Price

The regular Dyson Zone headphones are available for Rs. 59,900 in India, while the Dyson Zone Asbolute+ variant is available at Rs. 64,900. The latter comes with a few extra accessories, including a pair of air filters, a hard case, an in-flight adapter kit, and a soft pouch. Both models are listed on the company’s website.
