The leaks around the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 are intensifying as we move closer to the Unpacked event scheduled for July. The latest beat comes from benchmarking platform Geekbench that shows the European Galaxy Z Fold6 variant will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The phone bears model number SM-F956B and shares the traits with the US model bearing model number SM-F956U It will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for sure. A report by the Korean publication The Elec highlights Galaxy Z Fold6 uses Snapdragon globally just as the predecessor. Leaks also mention the existence of a cheaper Galaxy Z Fold FE released with a mix of Exynos and Snapdragon SoCs that will be market-dependent.

Anyways, the Geekbench listing for the European Galaxy Z Fold6 mentions 12GB as the RAM variant which is probably the base capacity. It is still unclear whether Samsung will launch multiple RAM variants or if Fold6 will follow the steps of Z Fold5 launching with a single RAM variant. Given the fact that the Galaxy Z Fold FE reportedly uses 12GB of RAM, it begs the question that flagship models such as Z Fold6 should bring higher RAM capacities to the table justifying the premium status.

Moving ahead, we have seen renders for Galaxy Z Fold6 with a wider and slightly larger cover display at 6.3″ (the predecessor has 6.2″). It will have an aspect ratio of 22:9, however, get ready for significant bezels around the edges although that might put some of the potential customers aside.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is set to welcome a thicker ultra-thin glass (UTG) that potentially reduces the creases on the display. Apart from that, the Z Fold6 will bring the same camera specs as the Z Fold5 which includes a 50MP primary Sony ISOCELL GN3, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

We have heard about multiple Fold6 variants in the making which include Z Fold FE and Z Fold6 Slim (or Ultra). However, rumors have it that only one Z Fold6 variant will make it to the market this Unpacked event which is likely the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 (of course).
