Everything You Need to Know About the Vivo V30 Series Launching in India on March 7

Tech giant Vivo is all set to launch its next V-Series in the country. The Vivo V30 Series including two smartphones- Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro are about to land in India on March 7, 2024. Successor to the Vivo V29 Series that launched in October 2023, the V30 Series claims to take camera capabilities to the next level. The posters and teasers indicate Vivo has continued its long-standing partnership with Zeiss to give good camera features. While the Vivo V30 Series has already been rolled out in some select markets around the world, India is set to get these devices later this week. Vivo has partnered with ace Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli to be the face of the V30 Series.

Vivo V30 Series: Expected Price & Availability

Vivo V30 Series will launch in India on March 7 at 12 PM. It will retail via Flipkart.

Vivo V30 is expected to cost somewhere around Rs. 40,000 for the base 8GB/256GB model.

Whereas Vivo V30 Pro is said to be priced around Rs. 45,000 for the base 8GB/256GB model.

Since Vivo V30 Series has already been launched in Indonesia, we have an idea of what the specifications would be.

Vivo V30 5G: Specs (expected)

In Indonesia, the Vivo V30 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 720 GPU. The smartphone has up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2800 nits brightness.  

Regarding cameras, the back has a 50MP primary with OIS, 50MP ultrawide, and a 2MP bokeh sensor. At the front is a 50MP snapper for selfies. Vivo V30 runs Android 14 with FunTouch OS out of the back and draws juice from a 5000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging.

Vivo V30 Pro: Specs (expected)

Vivo V30 Pro is powered by Dimensity 8200 chipset in Indonesia. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage and flaunts a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2800 nits brightness, HDR10+, and 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of camera optics, the rear panel has a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX816 sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide angle lens. At the front is a 50MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The device runs Android 14-based FunTouch 14 out of the box and packs a 5000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging capability.

The exact price and specs will become known on March 7 when the devices actually go official in the country.
