Tech giant Samsung is working intensively behind the scenes to solidify its leadership in the mobile world. The most concrete evidence of the company’s future product roadmap is usually certification and database records that emerge months before the official launch. This tradition has not been broken, and Samsung’s next flagship tablets and smartwatches have been officially spotted in the GSMA IMEI database. Leaked images confirm the existence and model numbers of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S12+, Galaxy Watch9, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 models.

Notable Change in Tablet Strategy: No Standard Model, “Plus” Returns

One of the most striking pieces of information obtained from the IMEI database reveals a strategic change in Samsung’s tablet series. As you may recall, the previous generation Galaxy Tab S11 series consisted only of the standard Galaxy Tab S11 and the high-end Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra models. However, according to new records dated 2026, Samsung seems to be taking a different approach this time.

While no standard “Galaxy Tab S12” model is found in the database records, the most powerful member of the series, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra 5G, has taken its place with the model number SM-X946B. It is certain that this device will continue to be Samsung’s absolute powerhouse in the tablet market.

However, the real surprise was the return of the “Plus” model. Leaked images clearly show the Galaxy Tab S12+ 5G model with the model number SM-X846B. This indicates that Samsung wants to offer its users an intermediate option that provides higher performance and a larger screen than the standard model without going to the enormous size of the Ultra model. This move by the company can be interpreted as an attempt to redefine premium segmentation in the tablet market.

A New Era in Wearable Technology: Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2

Samsung’s preparations are not limited to tablets. The company, seeking to maintain its strong position in the smartwatch market, is updating both its main series and the durability-focused “Ultra” series it launched in the past.

According to records found in the GSMA IMEI database, the company’s new generation standard smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch9, is coming with the model number SM-L345U. This model is expected to modernize the design language of the current Watch series, offering more advanced health tracking features and longer battery life.

In addition, the Ultra series, which appeals to adventurers and those seeking the highest level of durability, continues. The new model, called the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, appeared in the database with the model number SM-L716U. Following the success of the first Watch Ultra model, the second generation is likely to feature more robust materials, advanced GPS features, and special modes for extreme sports.

The Big Picture and Possible Launch Date

These new devices are just part of Samsung’s expanding ecosystem. The information also indicates that the company is working on its highly anticipated new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and mystery Galaxy Foldable.

Looking at Samsung’s past product launch cycles, there is usually a 6-7 month gap between a device being added to the IMEI database and its official launch. Based on this historical data, it would not be wrong to predict that the Galaxy Tab S12 series, Galaxy Watch9, and Watch Ultra 2 will be unveiled alongside new foldable phones at a major “Galaxy Unpacked” event in August or September 2026.

IMEI database leaks prove that Samsung has prepared an extremely ambitious product lineup for the second half of 2026. The change in strategy on the tablet front and steady progress in wearable technology herald an exciting period ahead for tech enthusiasts.
