December is a busy month for smartphone launches in India, and iQOO seems to be taking charge for it. Just last month we broke the news about the India launch of the iQOO 13 and now we have an update for you.
Update October 16, 2024: iQOO has preponed the launch of the iQOO 13 to December 3, 2024, as it aims to compete with rivals.
iQOO 13 India Launch Date
Earlier we learned from our trusted partner Yogesh Brar that the brand will announce the iQOO 13 in India on December 5th. The iQOO 13 will be driven by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. We further received an update from our partner that, iQOO has decided to preponed its launch by two days to counter the announcement from the rival brand. Now, the iQOO 13 India Launch will happen on 3rd December 2024.

India price expectations
The iQOO 13 brings some much-needed upgrades ranging from a high-resolution display, secure fingerprint sensor, larger battery, and much more. While we do not have any pricing information, we expect the iQOO 13 to start at around Rs 55,000 in the Indian market.


iQOO 13 specifications (expected)
The iQOO 13 features a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Q10 spec display has been made by BOE, especially for iQOO, and delivers an exceptional viewing experience, and efficiency. At its core, the iQOO 13 comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
On the optics side, the iQOO 13 is expected to have a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 2x telephoto sensor. There is a 32MP camera upfront for selfies and video calls. This setup is a bit different from the one on iQOO 12 which had a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.

Other rumored features of the device include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 6,100mAh battery with 100W charging, a metal middle frame, a Halo light strip, and an IP68-rated body.
