For years, OPPO’s Find X series has been the “north star” for mobile photography enthusiasts, often pushing the limits of what we thought possible with a glass-and-metal slab. After months of speculation, we finally have a clear picture of what’s next.
According to trusted industry insider Yogesh Brar, OPPO is preparing to launch their next generation flagship, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, at a launch event in China on April 20th.

The flagship will see a simultaneous announcement in select global markets, including Europe, India, and Southeast Asia, apart from ofcourse China. We’ve already published the renders of the Find X9 Ultra as an exclusive post.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra Specsheet
As per recent report, the Find X9 Ultra could come with a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen (3120 x 1440 pixels) that supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Further, the screen should be able to achieve a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. To protect the screen against scratches and other daily wear and tear, the handset should come with the NanoCrystal Glass.
Unlike Oppo’s recent flagships that rely on the MediaTek Dimensity chipset, the Find X9 Ultra should feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. For those catching up, this chipset already powers smartphones like the OnePlus 15 (review) and the newly launched Galaxy S26 Ultra (review); detailed reviews of both are live on Smartprix.

Besides the Qualcomm chipset, the phone could sport 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Since it’s a camera-centric smartphone, Oppo has got that bit sorted as well. The Find X9 Ultra is said to come with a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera (with up to 3x optical zoom), another 50MP telephoto zoom camera (with 10x optical zoom), and a 50MP ultrawide sensor.
Yes, the Find X9 Ultra will most likely feature two 200MP sensors and two telephoto sensors as well, as we’ve seen on Samsung’s Ultra models for years. The selfie shooter could feature a 50MP sensor.
Powering the handset could be a 7,050 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
