For the better part of a decade covering consumer tech, I’ve seen my fair share of confusing smartphone lineups. Usually, when a Chinese manufacturer brings a phone to the global stage, it’s a direct copy-paste job. However, OPPO seems to be taking a different route this year.
According to exclusive information provided to us by trusted industry insider Yogesh Brar, OPPO is set to launch the Find X9s in global markets, including India, soon. Crucially, our sources indicate that the global version of the Find X9s will differ from the one being launched in China. And we have the full specsheet to prove it.

OPPO Find X9s Specs
Unlike the China-bound model, which is on the compact side, the global OPPO Find X9s model gets a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This is similar to the vanilla Find X9 that launched globally late last year.

The Find X9s gets its power from the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and will be paired with 12GB of RAM and offered in two storage configurations: 256GB or 512GB.
OPPO is sticking to a high-resolution strategy for its optics. The rear camera island will house a triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens capable of 3X optical zoom. Our source indicates that this array will utilize a combination of Sony LYT-700 and Samsung JN5 sensors to ensure versatile imaging performance. For selfies and video calls, the front of the device will feature a dedicated 32MP camera.
The global Find X9s is set to pack a massive 7,025mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. It also misses out on wireless charging supprot which was present on the standard Find X9. The software experience should be equally modern, as the phone is slated to boot Android 16-based ColorOS 16 straight out of the box.
Launch Timeline
For those looking to upgrade, the wait shouldn’t be too long. Yogesh Brar confirms that the OPPO Find X9s is on track to launch in global markets, including India, by Q2 of this year.
