The realme GT7 Pro has been teased and is set to be released in China by the end of this month. We now have exclusive news regarding its India launch: it will be the first smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

realme GT7 Pro to Launch in Mid-November in India

This information comes from our partner Yogesh Brar, who exclusively shared with us that the realme GT7 Pro would indeed be the first smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The launch in India is slated for mid-November, around two weeks ahead of the iQOO 13, which is scheduled to launch on December 3.

Leaked Specifications

The realme GT7 Pro has already had several leaks, revealing its key specifications. According to these leaks, the device will feature a 6.7 or 6.8-inch Samsung-made 1.5K micro-quad-curve display, with a global peak brightness of 2,000 Nits. The phone will also come with a 6,500 mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging.

Camera-wise, the realme GT7 Pro will include a 50 MP Sony IMX906 wide camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 3x optical zoom periscope camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor.

For selfies, it will sport a 32 MP front-facing camera. It will come with IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, too. The phone will run on realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15. realme UI 6.0 shares similarities with ColorOS 15, which has been announced today in China.

Expected Pricing

The realme GT7 Pro is set to be the first flagship in the country, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It could also be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone in India at an expected price of around ₹55,000 to ₹60,000.
