Following the announcement of the Vivo V40 series, we can confirm that the brand is working on the Vivo V50 series. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is actively testing the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50e models.
We spotted this shortly after the Vivo V40e was unveiled on September 25. Our IMEI database revealed 2 different Vivo V50 models. Vivo may be testing different models of the V50 series internally right now. But for the moment, the existence of 2 models can be confirmed.
Vivo V50 series coming
The Vivo V40 was basically exactly the same as the Vivo V30. Now that the Vivo V50 has been officially spotted, what can the new Vivo V50 series offer? The Vivo V50 can be expected to offer similar features as the Vivo V40. However, there is no official information about the specifications of the devices.
We can only say that network tests of the devices have been made. These tests aim to ensure that the smartphones run without any problems. For this reason, Vivo is already actively testing the Vivo V50 series and wants the end user to have the best experience.
Vivo V50 is in the IMEI database with model number V2427, while Vivo V50e attracts attention with model number V2428. Compared to the Vivo V30e, the Vivo V40e received significant upgrades in points such as processor and fast charging.
We don’t know yet what the new Vivo V50e will offer. However, compared to the Vivo V40e, the device may have improved camera sensors, upgraded fast charging, and a better processor.
Unfortunately, the Vivo V50 series’s launch date is unknown, but the Vivo V30 was officially announced in February 2024 and the Vivo V40 in June 2024. Vivo V50 can be expected to be introduced again in February, that is, in Q1 2025. As for the Vivo V50e, the Vivo V30e was officially announced in May 2024, and the Vivo V40e in September 2024.
There are almost 4 months between the introduction months. So if we make logic, you can expect the Vivo V50e to be introduced in January 2025. Since there is no official information yet, we can’t say anything for sure.
