In the decade we’ve spent covering the mobile industry, the “mid-range” segment has evolved from a compromise into a battlefield. Every so often, a device surfaces that doesn’t just join the fray, but resets the expectations for what a sub-₹35,000 phone can actually do. If the details listed below check out, then the upcoming T series phone from vivo could be redefining the segment.
The Deets
According to trusted industry insider Yogesh Brar, Vivo is gearing up to launch the vivo T5 Pro in India very soon. The device is expected to make its official debut by Mid-April, positioning it as a primary contender for the spring upgrade season. With the predecessor becoming a fan favorite for its balance of style and speed, the T5 Pro has some big shoes to fill.

vivo T5 Pro Specsheet
The leaked specifications suggest a device that focuses on extreme endurance and display quality. The most eye-popping detail is the massive 9,020 mAh battery, a capacity almost unheard of in standard consumer flagships. To ensure you aren’t tethered to a wall charger for hours, it reportedly supports 90W fast charging.
On the front, the T5 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen featuring a crisp 1.5K resolution and a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, proving it to be a capable machine for both daily multitasking and lite gaming.
For photography, the phone is going to come with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with support for 4K video recording. Durability hasn’t been ignored either, as the phone is set to carry both IP68 and IP69+ ratings, offering top-tier protection against dust and high-pressure water jets.

Software, Colors, and Pricing
The vivo T5 Pro will be among the first to ship with OriginOS 6 out of the box. Aesthetic-wise, buyers can choose between two sleek finishes: Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black.
As for the damage to your wallet? Brar suggests the vivo T5 Pro will launch at a highly competitive price point, starting just above Rs 30,000, directly competiting with the likes of the Nothing Phone 4a.
