Xiaomi is preparing to launch the new Xiaomi 15 series in the global market. The Chinese manufacturer’s most prominent smartphone is usually the “Ultra” series, and Xiaomi is adding superior features to these smartphones under the Ultra name.

The brand, which has been launching “Ultra” models in the global market since the Mi 11 Ultra, launched the Xiaomi 12S Ultra exclusively for the Chinese market. Then the expected move came with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and although this smartphone was not available in many countries, it was sold in certain regions in the global market. Also on this smartphone, the front camera can record videos up to 1080P@30FPS.

This was pretty bad compared to other Ultra models, luckily Xiaomi fixed this in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the front camera started recording 4K@60FPS videos. In my opinion, the only disadvantage of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is that it doesn’t support eSIM.

Despite many people saying that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the best smartphone of 2024, if I take a comprehensive evaluation of the mobile market, I think the best smartphone of 2024 is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s only drawback was the lack of eSIM support, and Xiaomi is planning to bring eSIM support to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be the brand’s first “Ultra” smartphone with eSIM support.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be the best smartphone of 2025 with premium features

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have the codename “xuanyuan” and the model number “25010PN30G”. Following our review of the latest version of HyperOS software, we can now confirm that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will support eSIM. Users are curious to see what Xiaomi’s latest premium Ultra smartphone has to offer. In this article, we’ll share a lot of information, including the countries where the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be sold.

The screenshot above clearly shows that smartphones such as Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Lite, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, and Xiaomi 15 series (Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra) support eSIM. With the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi plans to introduce a truly flawless smartphone.

This smartphone will be officially available in many regions including Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan, India, and EEA countries. This will be very good news for Xiaomi fans. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra also stands out with its camera hardware, XiaomiTime has already spotted the camera features of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in HyperOS software and this is how the smartphone’s camera features will be:

  • Quad rear camera system: 50MP Sony LYT900 Main, 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 Ultra Wide, 50MP Sony IMX858 3x Telefoto, 200MP Samsung S5KHP9 5x Telefoto
  • Front camera: 32MP Omnivision OV32B40 Front

In addition, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to come with a 6000mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. Snapdragon 8 Elite is Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This will help the device to have high performance, a good ISP (Image Signal Processor), and more. You will be able to record the best photos and videos with Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to be officially unveiled at MWC. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra will be introduced in the global market, while the Xiaomi 15 Pro will remain exclusive to China. Xiaomi has been keeping its “Pro” series exclusive to China since the 14 Pro. This is quite normal as the “Ultra” series has received more attention than the “Pro” series.
