Xiaomi 2025 flagships are out. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra have been showcased at MWC 2025 and the brand is expected to announce their prices tomorrow. What’s next? Well, the Xiaomi 15T series is already under work as HyperOS code has provided an exclusive early look at the upcoming devices, fueling excitement for what’s to come. Known for delivering powerful specifications at competitive prices, Xiaomi’s T-series has consistently appealed to tech-savvy consumers. Here’s what we know so far about the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro:

What’s known about the Xiaomi 15T series?

Xiaomi continues its tradition of honoring famous painters by assigning codenames to its T-series devices. The Xiaomi 15T is codenamed “klimt,” after Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro is known as “turner,” named after British artist J.M.W. Turner. These codenames were discovered within the HyperOS 2.1 software.

It’s interesting to note that the Xiaomi 15T Pro and the Redmi K80 Ultra share a code name, “turner.” They will likely have almost identical hardware and software, so it is safe to assume they will perform similarly. But, as usual, there will be some differences in the camera specifications.

The Redmi K80 Ultra, which shares the codename ‘turner‘ with the Xiaomi 15T Pro, has the model number “25060RK16C”. The Xiaomi 15T Pro is identified by model numbers “2506BPN68G” and “2506BPN68R”, while the Xiaomi 15T is listed as “25069PTEBG”. To understand these model numbers, the last letters indicate the region the device will be sold. For example, with R= Japan, G= Global, and C= China.

Unfortunately, like previous T-series releases, the Xiaomi 15T series will not be available in India. Xiaomi has chosen to focus on other global markets for these smartphones.

Expected Features

Xiaomi T-series usually packs capable hardware, and the 15T series is expected to follow the same theme. The Xiaomi 15T is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, offering strong performance for gaming and multitasking. The Xiaomi 15T Pro is expected to feature the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, promising enhanced speed and efficiency.

Launch Date and Availability

The Xiaomi 15T series is likely to launch alongside the MIX Flip 2, continuing Xiaomi’s trend of announcing its foldable and T-series smartphones together. If Xiaomi adheres to its usual schedule, the official unveiling should occur at the Xiaomi September Launch Event.
