Flipkart

  • Available Price: While writing this article, the baseline iPhone 16 (128GB) is available on Flipkart for Rs. 68,999 (down from its listing price of Rs. 79,900).
  • Bank Offer: Using an ICICI Bank credit card, buyers can get a discount worth Rs. 4,500 (on EMI). Hence, the effective price of the smartphone comes out to be Rs. 64,499.
  • Exchange Offer: Suppose we exchange an iPhone 13 for an iPhone 16. Flipkart is offering between Rs. 6,200 and Rs. 23,000 (flawless), depending on the condition of the phone. Keep in mind that Flipkart charges a Rs. 199 exchange fee.

With exchange, the effective price of the iPhone 16 (128GB) comes out to be Rs. 41,499 (plus the exchange fee).

Amazon

  • Available Price: The iPhone 16 (128GB) is available on Amazon for Rs. 72,300, down from the listing price of Rs. 79,900.
  • Bank Offer: Using an SBI credit card, buyers can get a Rs. 4,250 discount on EMI and a Rs. 4,000 discount on one-time transactions. Considering the former, the effective price of the handset is Rs. 68,050.
  • Exchange Offer: Trading in an iPhone 13 (128GB) with no damage can get you Rs. 24,150 in exchange value (which includes a limited-time additional discount of Rs. 3,000). Like Flipkart, Amazon also charges an exchange service fee of Rs. 179.

Hence, the effective price of the iPhone 16 comes out to be Rs. 43,900, which is slightly higher than Flipkart (Rs. 2,381). The exchange fee, however, is somewhat lower.

Given below is a summary of all the prices. Remember, they might be different for you, depending on the prevailing offers on the day and the phone you exchange (and its condition).
