OPPO has just teased what could be the thinnest bezels on a flagship device, potentially dethroning the iPhone 16 Pro, which currently holds that title. In a post by OPPO’s CPO, Pete Lau, an image was shared showing the iPhone 16 Pro Max side by side with an unknown device, which appears to be the OPPO Find X8.
Renowned leaker Ice Universe confirmed that the phone with the thinner bezels is the OPPO Find X8, sporting symmetrical bezels measuring just 1.45 mm, which is thinner than the current thinnest iPhone 16 Pro.

The OPPO Find X8 is expected to launch in China on October 21st, following the announcement of ColorOS 15 on October 17th. The device will feature a 6.5” display, Dimensity 9400 SoC, and a triple 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP 3x camera setup.
It will come with a 5,700 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging and wireless charging with a MagSafe-like magnetic system. It will also feature the Camera Control-like button that the iPhone 16 series recently got.
The OPPO Find X8 will come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it a powerhouse for performance. The OPPO Find X8 Pro, which is set to be revealed alongside the Find X8, will feature a 6,500 mAh battery and similar high-end specifications.
