Fossil India has unveiled their new spectrum of smartwatches today at an event concluded in New Delhi. This next generation of watches arrives across all the Fossil Group sub-brands like Skagen, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Diesel, and Fossil. Keeping in view that the world is moving towards connected devices, it is obvious that watches too will get a shift from traditional analog design to smartwatches. Fossil has always emphasized on blending technology to watches without compromising on the fashion quotient. The same applies to these newly launched smartwatches as well.

Latest Fossil Smartwatches Features

This new range of smartwatches retains all the earlier features such as step counter and sleep tracker. As usually Email, WhatsApp, text and call notifications can be accessed on these new smartwatches. Other primary smartwatch features like music controls and weather information find their way to these smartwatches.

One thing which the earlier variants of Fossil smartwatches missed was a heart rate tracker and they fixed this with this batch of smartwatches. All the new smartwatches launched today feature a heart-rate tracker and are swim-proof. So this makes these new smartwatches one of the best in the market that can track all sorts of human activities. However, you should consider purchasing a silicon strap variant rather than the leather or metallic one if you are seriously looking to use these smartwatches for tracking your swimming. These new watches also come with untethered GPS functionality which allows you to store map data and track user movement without having to bring your smartphone along. On the downside, you will not be able to retrace your path to a new destination if you do not carry your phone.
