Xiaomi, the technology powerhouse, is making significant strides at the MWC 2025 exhibition. The company has unveiled several new products, including the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and HyperOS 2, along with an innovative modular smartphone concept. Additionally, Xiaomi has presented a range of wearables, featuring the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S4, and Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro, including a WiFi variant, all showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2025.

Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro: Features

Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro features a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a 336x480p resolution, 77% screen to body ratio, 2.5D Curved glass, and 1200 nits brightness. The band packs a 350mAh battery that can last up to 21 days on single charge and supports 150+ sports modes for fitness tracking. The Smart Band comes with GNSS for outdoor precision and 3D workout animations too and is equipped with an in-built compass for navigation.
Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro comes in cream white, moonlight silver, obsidian black and rose gold colors with strap options including TPU, Leather, and magnetic designs. The band has a lightweight chassis than Watch S4 because of its aluminium alloy frame and comes with health tracking sensors like blood oxygen monitor, heart rate, and sleep monitoring functionalities. Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro is priced at 79.99 euros (Rs. 7300 approx.)

Xiaomi Watch S4: Features

The Xiaomi Watch S4 comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 pixel resolution, 326 ppi, and 1500 nits brightness staying brightest under sunlight. The watch comes with swappable bezels and straps for custom styles and can track stress with emoji indicators providing real-time direction and altitude.
Health sensors include 98% accurate heart rate monitoring, 60-second health reports plus breathing exercises and more. L1+L5 GNSS will ensure precise outdoor tracking paired with 150+ sports modes and it will be able to sync with Xiaomi devices for enabling call rejection, photo capture, and earbud control via gestures. Xiaomi claims a 15-day battery life due to a 486mAh battery with 5 minutes of charging offering 2 days of runtime. Xiaomi Watch S4 comes with a rotating crown that allows you to browse through menus easily. It runs HyperOS 2.0 and boasts of 150+ sports modes. The watch is priced at 159.99 euros (Rs. 14,600 approx.)

Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro: Features
Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro claim to deliver top-notch sound with Snapdragon Soung and Qualcomm aptX lossless tech providing 48kHz/24-bit audio at up to 2.1Mbps. The buds come with a triple-driver system offering deep bass, clear mids and wide sound and have been tuned by Harman Golden Ear Team. It comes with two EQ profiles for a refined listening experience.
With 55dB of hybrid noise cancellation, Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro can adapt to block all kinds of distractions. The TWS supports dual device pairing, 3D audio, and AI features like translation and transcription via gestures, plus pinch and swipe controls for music, calls, noise settings and volume and more. The buds can last for up to 40 hours with the case and 4.5 hours from a 10-minute charge. Pressing the case three times will allow you to record audio, which makes it ideal for meetings or memos. Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro (WiFi): Features

Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro (WiFi) are the first to introduce WiFi connectivity for smartphones, offering 96kHz/24-bit lossless sound at 4.2Mbps with Qualcomm XPAN tech. The buds have been built on the same triple-driver setup with expansive sound and custom EQ profiles. The TWS will be available in translucent black color that combines a glossy and matte finish. Xiaomi claims that the buds will last 40 hours with the case and a 10-minute charge will offer 4 hours of playback time. Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro WiFi are priced at 219.99 euros (Rs. 20,000 approx.)

Which of these wearables will come to India, and when, still remains unclear.

Apart from smartphones and wearables, Xiaomi has also announced an Electric Scooter 5 Max that is powered by a 100W motor and can reach a speed of 25km/h. It can support up to 120kg weight and offers a range of up to 60km with a charging time of 3 hours. It costs 599.99 euros (Rs. 54,700 approx.).
