FUJIFILM has officially brought the X-T30 III to India, positioning it as a compact hybrid camera for both photography and video use. It keeps the familiar X Series design with a center viewfinder and lightweight body while adding newer processing, video upgrades, and autofocus improvements. The camera is priced at ₹102,999 for the body, while the kit with the XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens is available at ₹119,999.

The camera uses a 26.1 MP back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor paired with the X-Processor 5. This combination delivers faster image processing compared to the previous generation, along with improved responsiveness across shooting modes. The overall body weight is 378 grams including battery and memory card, keeping it compact for everyday carry and street photography use.

On the video side, the X-T30 III supports 6.2K recording at 30 fps in 4:2:2 10-bit color using the full sensor in an open gate format. This allows flexibility to crop content later for different aspect ratios without losing quality. It also supports 4K at 60 fps and Full HD at 240 fps for slow-motion footage. Digital image stabilization is included for smoother handheld recording.

A new Film Simulation dial has been added on the top plate, giving direct access to 20 film profiles. These include options like REALA ACE for natural tones and NOSTALGIC Neg. for a softer look. There are also three custom slots labeled FS1 to FS3, where users can save their own presets for quick switching between styles.

The autofocus system now uses AI-based deep learning for subject detection. It can recognize and track multiple subjects including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, airplanes, drones, and insects depending on the selected mode. This allows automatic tracking during both photo and video shooting.

The camera includes a 1.62 million-dot tilting rear LCD for flexible shooting angles and retains the classic control layout. An Auto Mode lever is also present for switching between manual and automatic shooting quickly. Wireless support allows direct connection to FUJIFILM instax printers including mini, SQUARE, and WIDE models for instant prints.
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III is now available across India through retail and online platforms, with its focus on combining still photography and video capabilities in a compact form factor.
