Garena Free Fire is gearing up to make a grand comeback in India. The battle royale video game, dubbed Free Fire India, will surface on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on September 5, 2023, after a 10-month ban. Complying with the guidelines issued by the Government of India, the game has partnered with an Indian data center. It will also introduce a verification system, gameplay limitations, and break reminders.

Free Fire India New Features

Free Fire India will return with a few features specific to the country, including a playtime limit that will encourage users to take breaks. Players below 18 years of age will need their parent’s permission to play the game. Further, there will be a spending limit in the game, along with an improved reporting mechanism.

Another attraction that might gather more players during the comeback is a partnership with MS Dhoni, the former Indian cricket team captain, who will be available as a playable character in the game. Free Fire India has partnered with Yotta, an Indian IT infrastructure provider that will let the game use its data centers in the country to keep players’ data safe.
