Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro RAM and Storage Specs Are Out In Latest Leak

Google is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated flagship phones, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, later this year. Earlier we at Smartprix shared an exclusive first look at the Pixel 8 Pro which has already piqued interest, and new details about the Pixel 8 series have now come to light.

Despite the launch being a few months away, a constant stream of rumors continues to unveil fresh insights into the upcoming phones. Following recent leaks detailing the specifications of the Pixel 8 Pro, a new report has shed light on the expected RAM and storage options for both models.

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Storage Variants

According to a report from German publication WinFuture, the Pixel 8 is anticipated to be available with 128GB and 256GB storage options, mirroring its predecessor. On the other hand, the larger Pixel 8 Pro is set to offer three storage choices: 128GB, 256GB, and an expansive 512GB version. The handsets will come in a range of captivating colors, with the Pixel 8 offered in Licorice, Peony, and Haze, while the Pixel 8 Pro will dazzle in Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky hues.

Pixel 8 Pro Cameras

Leaked details suggest that the Pixel 8 Pro will boast an impressive camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 64MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto camera. Notably, an 11MP front-facing camera is also rumored. Pixel 8 Cameras: Imaging Excellence The Pixel 8 is expected to feature a 50MP GN2 primary sensor, complemented by a 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide lens and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera. Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate the 11MP front camera.

Anticipated Specifications of Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display, boasting a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 will sport a slightly smaller 6.17-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, delivering a peak brightness of 1400-nits and 427 PPI.

Both flagships will be powered by the cutting-edge Google Tensor G3 chipset, fortified with the robust Titan security chip. Upon launch, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are projected to run on the Android 14 operating system.

The Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to house a robust 4,950mAh battery, supported by 27W wired charging. In comparison, the Pixel 8 will offer a slightly smaller 4,485mAh battery, with 20W fast wired charging and 12W wireless charging capabilities.

As the launch date draws nearer, the excitement surrounding Google’s Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro continues to grow. Enthusiasts eagerly await the official unveiling of these flagship devices, which promise a blend of advanced features and innovative design.
