Google Pixel 8 And Pixel 8 Pro Pricing Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Ahead of the official launch, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro’s pricing has surfaced online. A new report claims to have leaked the pricing for these upcoming flagships, indicating that the smartphones could cost more than their predecessors.

Pixel 8 Leaked European Pricing

The 128GB version of Pixel 8 could cost EUR 874.25, which includes 23% VAT, excluding which, the price remains to be EUR 710.77. As per the conversion rate on September 2, 2023, the European price equals Rs. 63,723 in India (excluding the varying VAT). It is important to mention that the release price of the Pixel 7 in India was Rs. 59,999. 

The 256GB variant of the phone will reportedly cost EUR 949.30, including 23% VAT, without which the price stands at EUR 771.79. This converts to about Rs. 69,200. The Tech Outlook and the tipster Paras Guglani have leaked the prices.

Pixel 8 Leaked Color Options

Regarding color options, the Pixel 8 will be available in four options: Mint, Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose. While we’ve seen the Pixel 7 in the Obsidian finish, the other three options seem new for the lineup.

Pixel 8 Pro Leaked Price 

The Google Pixel 8 Pro could come in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The base variant with 128GB may cost EUR 1,235.71, including 23% VAT, excluding which the price is EUR 1,004.65. In India, this equals to about Rs. 90,168.04. Last year, the Pixel 7 Pro (128GB) came out for Rs. 84,999.

The 256GB variant of the upcoming Google smartphone could cost EUR 1,309.95. Excluding 23% VAT, the price remains EUR 1,066, which translates to Rs. 95,674.25. Last but not least, the 512GB top trim might cost EUR 1,461.24, or EUR 1.188 without 23% VAT, or Rs. 1,06,623,83.

Pixel 8 Pro Color Options

The Pixel 8 Pro could come out in four colors: Obsidian, Bay, Porcelain, and Mint. While we’ve seen the Pixel 7 Pro in the Obsidian finish, the other three are new colors. Fans and enthusiasts don’t have to wait too long, as the Pixel 8 launch event will take place on October 4, 2023.
